After years of success in the electrical industry as a business owner, John Francis, co-founder of Accuserv, identified an opportunity to better serve his customers.

"We knew there was a need by large multi-unit operators for companies to help them design, procure, and distribute products on a national basis … a service that many companies lack the knowledge and the resources to execute."

In 1998, acting on this insight, Mr. Francis sold his company, built a founding executive team with Sandy Hines and Ray Zimmerer, and opened Accuserv. The company quickly grew to become a top national supplier of lighting and electrical switchgear for the dining, industrial, and commercial construction industry. Today, Accuserv serves a long list of customers as a one-stop resource for multiple-unit property owners, providing design, project management, distribution, and logistic business solutions.
